Has anyone used this item? Is it easy to use? I am looking for and economical source for making my own molds. Any advice is welcome. Or am I still in the dark ages? happy holidays to all.
Vermiculite is very good for straight lines and gentle curves. It is not so good when carving, although it can be carved with wood working tools. It sticks to glass very badly.
Kaiser Lee board is much better. Doesn’t stick in the same way, can also be used repeatedly, does not need hardner as ceramic fibre boards do.
