We’ve had our ringsaw for almost 4 years. It’s worked well until recently. In the Spring of this year it started making a noise like a bad bobbin on a sewing machine, (knocking). We changed the belt (new) and the grommets (new) and that took care of the problem. This week it started doing it again! The longer you use the saw the louder it gets. We checked over the grommets again, and reinstalled the belt (which looks good, and hasn’t had that much use), and this time we changed the blade too. STILL the knocking noise!
Has anyone had this problem before? If so, what was it? (Hubby thought maybe the spring needs to be replaced but not sure.)
Thanks so much!
