I have tried to include a picture not sure weather it will work or not. Yesterday I slumped a 3/8 ” screen melt mostly brown I used a consertive fireing schedule of 200/1000/30 50/1150/30 about 10 minutes into the slump the glass split. I know from what I have read here that the probable cause is probably not enough heat in the glass, thus causing it to split . Are there any other factors that might have caused the split? I am going to try and repair the piece, although I dont have much hope it will end up as I orginialy wanted.
Now you have experience to show that what is slow for other glass is not so for pot melts. I suggest slower rise,; maybe half the one you used. 10mm is more than 3 layers thick, so slow rises are needed and even more caution on glass subjected to high temperatures
