I have been trying to slump a 20″ two layer circle of Spectrum 96 and have so far lost 4 of them…..yup.  Thats about two hundred dollars worth of glass or more;  obviously its weight means that is drops faster, but I’ve gone all the way down to 1180 with a five minute hold and have still lost it.  Either the glass cracks or it traps the mold.  I am following instructions in different manuals and books, and some say that at 20″, you go to 1300 and hold for 15 minutes.  Unbelievable.  Does anyone out there have actual knowledge of a realiable draping schecule for 1/4″ thick Spectrum fusing glass?  I’d be really appreciative. I never slump over 1150 — the temperature plus time will soften and slump the glass.  I’d
rather have to have a longer hold than risk it by going to hot.

    Good luck
