I tried slumping an egg platter for the first time. It is a 13.5 round platter that I used 90 clear glass, 1/4 inch glass. I and happy with the slump of the egg indents but the edges where it slumped in to the egg indents pulled in and did not come out even. It looks like an uneven flower around the edge and just not good. Is there any ideas to slump the so the edges come out even and nice nice? Thanks for any advice, Kaylajl100

Size the glass so it is about 1/8″ larger than the actual dimensions of the mold. A little extra around the edges will help hold the glass on the rim.

Slump at the lowest temp possible to achieve results. For System 96, I usually slump no higher than about 1225, and often lower.
