This is my first post to the forum and I want to present my best.
I am an archaeologist , photographer and a inventor and I am an member of APUG .
Some of us have hard times to find ways to build their optical glass lenses and I am researching this subject for a long time. As I saw at the forum posts , you are using big or small kilns at your studios.
This is difficult for me because of expensive electric bills and to able to trust our apartments electrical system. But I can buy a cheap generator , convert it to high voltage and lower amperage and create a electrical current to sinter my glass powder in mold.
I want to ask that do you know any artist does it or is there a forum member who did it ?
What would be the biggest size of the transparent bubble free piece in try.
Thank you very much indeed,
Best regards ,
