Why do I have to sign in so often. Even though I tick the box asking to be remembered, I have to sign almost every second day.
I also find the capatcha overly complex.

I have the same problem having to re-sign in. I am looking into a solution.
When are you encountering the captcha?
I encounter this every time I wish to submit a comment, reply etc. But not in this section of the forum, oddly – at least until now, as I see I am requested again to use this to submit the reply.
