Going from a midsize kiln(16″ fiber)  to a large brick kiln(24×39) – what type of changes do I need to make in my firing schedules IE target temps and ramps.  What consideration do I need to take account of having elements in lid a 3 rows on the side as opposed to one side element.

Ih this case, size doesn’t matter ;).

It’s all about how the individual kiln, itself, fires. Top vs. side vs. top + side elements; hot spots; max rate of heating and cooling because of kiln size and construction, etc. I think you’ll just need to start playing and adjust if/when necessary.

I have a “small”, “medium”, and “large” kiln, and I pretty much use the same schedules for all three.
