I was using Thinfire paper with no problems, but someone told me that if I used Paprus paper, it would last for several firings. My problem is that most often with a little bigger piece, the Paprus comes up when I pick up the glass. Is there a way to pick up glass that leaves the paper on the shelf?
It all depends upon the glass, as well as how hot you fuse. Opal glasses will usually stick to the shelf paper at full-fuse temps; clears and transparents are less likely. Use a base of clear and typically the glass will lift right off the paper.
