First, thank you for providing support for those of us who are still learning this wonderful art.
I realized after slumping my 5″ square dish (1″ in depth) that I didn’t flip the fused piece over before setting it on the mold, as I’d intended to do. Can I turn the piece over on top of the mold now and attempt a second slumping, or do I need to get it back to a flat state first, perhaps by using a slump setting? I’ve searched internet forums and can’t find where this question is addressed (though I’m sure it’s out there somewhere ).
I’m also wondering if glass that’s been previously fired a couple of times needs a slower ramp and hotter temperature to accomplish the final desired outcome.
Thanks very much for your help.
