    Recently, my kiln overfired, glass ran off the shelves and onto the floor of the kiln.  The glass “ate” into the firebrick.  I’ve painted kiln cement onto the damaged areas.  Seems like I remember somebody saying I can heat the kiln up to maybe 250 degrees to dry out the cement.  Is that true, or do I just have to wait for it to dry naturally?  Would appreciate any help, suggestions, ideas!

    Depending on the size of the repair,a couple hours 175F should do the trick.
