ParticipantHi Fellow Fusers!
Need your help and suggestions concerning removal of the white reside (Zyp spray) that was recently left on my fused glass pieces. Glass and molds uses were as follows: Lily pad mold and black BE frit (90 COE), and frog mold where I used clear rainbow dichro (as a Mosaic element) and then filled with black BE (90 COE frit). Very frustrated with Zyp! Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions.

ParticipantIf really embedded, you may not be able to polish out. But for more sufferficial surface build-up, I’ve had reasonably good results with common 409 cleaning spray. Spray on, let sit for 5 minutes. Repeat if you seem to be making head-way. This issue made us totally give up on ZYP and boron in general. Life has been much better (for me & spouse) with better kiln wash and kiln wash technique. The haze left by boron is unacceptable on most pieces.

ParticipantBoron nitride (BN) is a parallel concoction compound, comprising of equivalent quantities of boron and nitrogen molecules. Its exact recipe is in this manner BN. Boron nitride is isoelectronic with carbon and, similar to carbon, boron nitrides exist as different polymorphic structures, Do My Research Paper one of which is undifferentiated from precious stone and one practically equivalent to graphite.
