ParticipantChad, you may be trying to use molds that are not meant for glass, or that are more difficult molds to use. It is best to start with shallow, open molds and move up to steeper-sided, deeper molds as you gain experience. Some molds have such steep sides and are so deep it actually works better to slump into a more open mold first, then an intermediate, and finally into your desired final form.
You didn’t describe the molds or your firing schedules, which would help folks give you some usable advice. If you are trying to fuse and slump in the same firing you can run into LOTS of trouble.
Read the tutorials and other people’s questions, re-post with more information, and maybe we can give you some help.
Fusing should be fun, not frustrating!
