ParticipantHas anyone ever tried to get more than one firing out of the primo primer kilnwash?? Just curious… I did a bottle slump firing, and when it was done, I realised I had selected the wrong program, so I needed to re-fire to slump them completely….I ended up removing them and removing the kilnwash and re applying, but I was so tempted to shut the lid and do re-fire….anyone ever get a second fire out of it??

ParticipantI coat my molds (approx.) after 4 firings and only remove it from the molds if it flakes or chips. Test and see how your molds work.

ParticipantI have never had much luck firing to a full fuse twice. The second full fuse firing usually sticks to the back of the glass. But I can do multiple, slump, tack or fire polish firings with no problem. At least that has been my experience.

Participantcoating them 4 to five time and letting it dry between and also doing the brush strokes in different strokes with each layer? I usally get about 3 full fuse with mine.
