Precision glass strip cutter

I’m constructing this cutter per your design and have all parts but the 1/2″ fip x 3/8″ fip reducing coupling. The 5/8″ compression tee threads are finer than 1/2″ fip threads. Maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t know how to make that connection. Can you advise please?

You can force them together. It isn’t water-tight but that isn’t required

Some folks like to add a bit of epoxy – it isn’t required but it doesn’t hurt.
