I have a 12″ ring lined with fibre paper. I attempted to use 37 OZ of glass to make a 11.75″ circle, 6 mm thick, accounting for the 1/8th inch of fibre paper on both sides of the ring.  The piece that resulted ranged between 11 and 11.5 ” in diameter (obviously didn’t fill the ring).

Q1: Should I not take into account the 1/8th inch fibre liner?

Q2: Would 38 Oz or 39 Oz be a better choice?  What should I expect in final ring size of the piece?

    Thanks

    Bob
