What temp gives the best patterns? I know that going up to 1700 you get more of the glass out of the pot, but I’m not worried about that. I’ve also notice that at 1700 that the patterns appear to me to be less distinctive. Is this what others have found?

The distant that the glass drops is also a factor I would believe. I think the shorter the distant the better. Has anyone tried playing around with this? I would appreciate any feedback before I start playing around with this.
