ParticipantHello. Does anyone have ideas as to where I can purchase 1/16 inch stainless steel rods?
Thank you!

ParticipantI think most mandrells, used for bead making, are stainless steel. Check with anyone who carries bead making supplies.

ParticipantThank you so much. Sometimes it really helps to find what you want when you know the terminology!!

ParticipantA good place to find those at a good price is a welding supply store. They have many diameters. The rods will be either 30 or 36 inches long and you cut them down to what you need. If the rods are going to be used in a hot application make sure you ask for grade 316L.

ParticipantThat is great. I am presently in the middle of 1 commission and 2 other projects. This gives me plenty of time to seek them out.
Again thank you for you help!!
