    Hello,

I have been experimenting  with  painting with glassline enamels, but would appreciate any help or suggestions. Perhaps someone knows the differences in thickness or ease of use in different enamels? Dry versus wet brush?Anything regarding painting with enamels on glass. I have done chinese brush painting in the past and would like to be able to transition on to glass.

    Thanks!

    Karen

For me, I think the biggest key was that you can’t really “paint” as you would traditionally. You have to use the brush to pool on the paint, and then push/pull it into place to get good coverage.

If the glasslines thicken up, they can be thinned with water. Just add some water, shake, and let sit overnight. Then shake some more :). Many people toss them when they dry out (needlessly).
