I’m trying to make snowflake ornaments and I’m new to fusing. I have read so much online and yet I’m missing something. I cut the snowflake out and have tried to place smaller pieces on the bottom with the larger on top and I have also tried to cut everything out and miter the edges so that everything is touching but not overlapping. I’ve used a full fuse schedule that was from slumpys website and I’m still not having very good luck with either method. I’m using Coe 96 glass. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!!

I think you are overthinking it. You can make some lovely snowflakes with simple strips of glass:
