    Hi Everyone,

Me again, with more questions.  I recently purchased a Paragon Fusion 8 kiln and have been using it for a little over a week.  My question of the day is….I coated the bottom of the kiln with glass seperator when I got it as instructed by Paragon.  I also read that this a one time deal on Paragon’s website but when talking with someone they said you needed to re-do it every 10 firings or so?  (They worked for Paragon.)  So which is correct?

Can only answer for myself. I do a thick coat when I get a kiln and then I’m good to go.

That is what I did and also what Paragon’s site said, perhaps the employee misunderstood and thought I was talking about the shelf?  Barry, have you been using your kilns for a long time?

Longest running kiln is about 12 years old, One wash on base. Have had isolated cases of small amount of glass on floor. It caused no problem.
