I would like to melt both S96 and cheap glass nuggets into two separate glazed ceramic bowls I have made.  I would like the glass to fuse with the ceramic glass, pool and smooth out and cover the bottem of the bowls.  So far I have tried Paul’s full fuse firing schedule but the glass did not pool and level out althought it did “stick/fuse to the bowls” as desired.  I then took it up to 1560 with a 90 minute hold and the glass in the nuggets bowl spread out more but not completely and the S96 looks a bit like swiss cheese.  I don’t think I need a full pot melt type flow for this.  I’m planning to try again anyone have a suggested firing schedule?  Appreciate your time!

According to essay writers In case you are used to running soft glass. Generally, the bottle glass might be damaged or reduce into narrow pieces so the glass will match within the flame for preheating and heating while not having cold components to shatter. However, if you were planning on the use of multiple colorations of bottle, you will probably run into the hassle of compatibility – glass sold for lampworking (or fusing) is supplied with matching Coe’s like 96 or 103 and there may be no guarantee that bottles have expansions a good way to work collectively – you might find that on cooling they split or display breaks within the glass.

The immense thing about making this sort of work is that you needn’t bother with anything unique to make it; you can utilize moderately shoddy glass and put it through your ordinary earthenware production furnace, as you can vary the temperature of your ceramics. dissertation editing and proofreading service
