I am wanting to make fused glass plant stakes and have a couple of thoughts:
1. I was thinking of embedding a small brass washer on the back side of the flower, etc, which I could then solder to a brass rod. Don’t know if I should place the brass washer on top of the glass or underneath.
2. Maybe I should just glue the brass rod to the flower, etc.
Use GE Silicone to glue the washer to the back of the glass, and then attach the rod to the washer (glue, or thread the rod and screw it into the washer, or rather, nut). You could also drill a hole through the center and run the rod through the hole, with a nut on each side to keep the glass in place.
Easiest just to glue
