Hi – I made some great looking “puddles”. They turned out in an oval shape, however I want to incorporate them into a flat dish. I’m thinking clear bottom layer, then color glass with puddles down the middle?? The puddles do not have a straight side so butting them up against another piece of glass will leave a gap. Can I also take all the puddles, lay them on a clear sheet and fuse into one big flat surface? How high should I fire? Thank you.Diane
If your glass stack is greater than 2 layers thick and you fire to a high full fuse, the surface of the glass will level out as the glass attempts to be 1/4″ thick. Consider that as you lay out your design.
