Larger Bubbles

I have the wonderful “Bubble Sorcery” e-book and have done several of the projects with much success. Now I want to make a grid of larger bubbles. Do I use thicker stringer or rods? If so, are there any tricks to the firing schedule? Would it be possible to create the bubbles using perhaps 1/4″ strips of glass rather than the rounded stringer or rods?

Bubbles are the result of trapped air. Anything that allows the air to be trapped can be used. Experiment!
