I’m looking for a used kiln. I’ve been fusing in a great old paragon ceramic kiln for the past four years and would like more "space". Last project I had to fire 6" X 6" tiles. A total of ten of them. One at a time. Sure would have been nice to at least fire two at a time.
I live in north Texas.

Have you tried checking Craig’s List? I have seen several listed.

Never even thought of Craig’s list. Thanks.

Craig’s list is good, as is Freecycle. Also check with your local glass shop…often people buy stuff and never use it. I scored a saw cheap that way.September 6, 2008 at 11:09 pm #10708
I wish there was a local glass shop here. The nearest is about 2 1/2 hours away. I usually have to order my supplies on line.
Still looking on craigslist.October 28, 2012 at 8:12 am #10709heandimake4Participant
I have a kiln for sale It’s new used once to see how it worked. I bought if from a friend, she needed the money, and I thought I would sell it to get my money back later on. It’s a nice glass kiln, and has a viewing widow, comes with a 7in shelf. 500.00 It’s a nice one. It doesn’t have a controler but a digetal read out unit.
Anyway it will make a nice kiln for someone.
