Can I use anything else as a kiln shelf? My second one is damaged and I want to try the kiln-pressed glass technique.. Also would a dried out house brick serve as a suitable weight to weigh it down? Thank you
Many people use pizza stones for shelves.
You would need to make sure the bricks are COMPLETELY dry or water may cause them to explode.
