    Hello,

I am a new member (and very new to glass fusing). I would like to get a glass kiln and was looking at Bonnie Glo tall – this is a new Jen Ken model. I am confined to 110V (to get 240 I would need to replace the breaker box and that is just too pricey), and this kiln seems to be on the bigger side – 15″ diameter – and I especially like the 9″ height – other kilns I looked at were about 6.5″ tall.

Does anyone has experience with fiber (as opposed to brick) kilns? What are pros and cons? I know one should not do a pot mold in a fiber kilns, are there any other things I could not do? What is your experience with Jen Ken – are those good kilns?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.

    Have a lovely day!
