I fired a strip plate with irid and clear strips, irid down, capped with clear. Fired fine. I coldworked and fire polished on thinfire, bottom down, to discover bubbles in the bottom of the irid glass but in the clear strips. Are you not supposed to fire irid on thinfire? Can I refire to soft fuse upside down oe right side up? Or is this for the “reuse” bin?

    Thanks

Do you think I can refire with irid up and save the piece?  I guess I don’t have much to lose, so I will load it up soon. Thanks for the info.  I have fired irid before and thought it was on thinfire, but maybe the pieces were very small, or I was mistaken.
