I’m in the process of setting up a sandblaster using a compressor and pressure pot and am having difficulty with getting a consistant flow of #80 grit from the nozzle.  The blasting starts and stops, tho I can restart it by jiggling the pressure Pot but the flow doesn’t last long.

Any ideas on what is wrong?

The pressure pot is a cheap one from Harbor freight and the nozzles that I’m using came from there also.  Is that the problem?    I do not have the “air dryer” installed yet but will be adding it to the line coming from the compressor and located right at the pressure pot.

Also does anyone have a recommendation on the amount of pressure I should be using at the pressure pot and what brand/size of nozzles I should use.

    Thanks all
