I guess the pace of Christmas caught up with me and I didn’t do a good check on how I loaded the kiln last night. This morning, one of the pieces had been hanging over the shelf. Needless to say I have a nice fused piece with a bend in it. It didn’t stick to the shelf. But can I re fire to level out the piece?
One of the great things about glass is you can always fix it.
You can do a full fuse, but remember this my change the overall shape a little or you can do a slump but just on the kiln shelf, this may not give you as flat a pice and you may need to do it twice the the overall shape will stay truer.
