I recently purchased a secondhand kiln, any advice on firing schedule?  I am doing coe90 glass and dichroic, small pieces (earrings and pendants).  Does the shelf have to be raised up from the bottom of the kiln?  Does the kiln heat evenly enough that I could fire 2 shelves of glass at once?  I haven’t used the kiln yet.

Which glass? Bullseye? Uroroboros? Other? Go to the manufacturer’s site for guidance.

shelf should be supported above the floor. Firing small pieces will be fast enough that the intricacies of multiple shelves does not need to be dealt with
