ParticipantI have this lamp that needs to be repaired but I can’t figure out how or even what it is. It looks like a french made glass shade – blown (?) into the metal frame. The metal doesn’t look like it will withstand a slumping. Anybody ever see anything like this before? I just don’t know what to do with it, or where to send it to be replaced. I’ve got photos if anybody wants a closer look.
Thanks!

ParticipantIf the customer wants it replaced, why don’t you just replace it. And if you are asking this question I wonder if you have the skills and tools to fix it anyway.
From the small amount of info you gave I can’t tell you how to fix it, there are techniques for repairing rotting wood with epoxy but a couldn’t say if that could work for you.December 14, 2008 at 1:07 am #10968Auto Glass
Participantwhy would you put down someone for asking a question? Especially when you do not know the 1st thing about lamp repair or fusing? I learned this from my uncle and I would never talk to anyone like this!
