ParticipantHow do I go about framing fused glass art? I’d be particularly interested in a box-style that could be used on a table or wall-mounted.

ParticipantLots of ways.. including traditional framing.
This piece was placed in a purchased frame. I nailed in a few strips of wood on the back to hold in the glass. I think I may have shimmed it with some balsa wood.

ParticipantHi,
Am looking for a light weight option for kiln shelves—that may be kiln washed or used with fiber paper. My regular shelves are killing my back(have a slipped disc). I have an octagonal and a square kiln, shelf sizes needed 18 x 28, and 23×23. Anyone have suggestions of materials/where to buy from/prices?

ParticipantThis comes in 25mm and 50mm thicknesses. Harden, smooth, kiln wash, put fibre paper over and fire
