Flaky forum

I think the forum needs a new back end
. I have tried twice now (once last night, once today) to respond to the question on aventurine glass. I log in (twice, since I logged in when I came to the site,, but then I had to log in a second time before I could choose to comment on the post…). I type my post, press the “Submit” button, but I never see my comment show up on the board. This is NOT the first time it has happened.Also, often when I go to the site, there will be indication on the forum index that there are new comments to a post, but when I go to that post, the last comment will be days old.
It is definitely flaky. Sorry to complain, but it’s almost to the point of being unusable.
