I am trying to make jewelry with names engraved between layers of fused glass.  But, when I fuse after engraving (with a dremel) the name disappears.  Lowering the temp to avind losing the name results in less than full fusing of the layers.  Any suggestions?

Probably won’t work. The whole idea of fusing is to get the class to smooth out.

You could engrave the name then rub in either mica or enamel paint. Then fuse it.
