ParticipantHave you looked into fusing wire into your glass jewelry? I have used sterling, argentium, fine silver and craft wire successfully in my jewelry. If you are interested in discussing this, let me know.

ParticipantHi Glassdancer,
Im still kind of new to this. What brand and gage wire do you use when fusing? If you have any tips or instructions on how to do it I would appreciate it so much!
Thanks for taking time to answer my question.

ParticipantI use an item called a plaque. Get mine at CGM findings. It is the small very thin piece that is used on necklace ends. About 1/2 in long and 1/4 in wide. Just glue it on the back like you would a Aanraku finding and hook the earring wire to it.
For the best part…..price is about 18 cents each for Sterling and not much more for gold filled..

ParticipantDoes anyone know of a good source for those little rubber bumpers that you stick to the bottom of coasters, plates, etc.?
Thanks,
Ralph

ParticipantI get mine at our local hardware supply store – also have seen them at bigbox named hardware stores. One time I found a good deal at the local Walgreen’s drug store.
