I saw an e-mail from Helios regarding the use of a Cricut for cutting fiber paper. Can anyone tell me which Cricut machine was used and the thickness of fiber paper (1/32, 1/16,etc.) used? I would really like to try this on a project. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
I have not cut fiber paper yet, but I do have a cricut and will be doing so.
I can tell you I have the Expression Cutter, it will cut up to 12×12 or 12×24 paper and can cut very thin paper to chipboard. So I would think you would have a few options. I will try it and let you know how it comes out.
We’ve been seeing lots of uses for the Cricut – but so far nobody we know of has been able to successfully cut fiber paper. Both the regular and deep cut blade seen to tear it up vs. cut it.
If anyone gets this working I’d love to hear the details.
