My slumped dish is lopsided and the wrong shape. What should I do? Can I put it back into the kiln and fuse it flat and then put it into a different shaped mold? If not, what do you suggest?
Sometimes your mistakes turn out to be some of your best work. I have put bowels back into the kiln some have broken and some have flattened back out. I think the ones that flattened out I slowed the heating time of the first segment so I wouldnt shock it. Hey, even if it breaks take a saw or hammer to it and use the pieces in another work.
