Hi,
I am fairly new to home fusing although I have been fusing glass in classes for 4 years. I have a square Paragon ceramic kiln and a Duncan Teaching kiln and want to use them at home. Both need to be either hard wired or be plugged into 220 and neither have digital controllers. I know that glass can be fused in a ceramic kiln because that is the type of kiln used in the classes I took but we were never taught how to fire glass in the kilns. I know that I have to keep logs and this website has been very helpful but is there a general, generic fusing schedule or is every schedule different for each type of item being fused i.e. larger projects as opposed to jewelry or smaller projects. Yup, I’m really dumb about this stuff. Thanks for any help.
