ParticipantHi everyone,
I’m new to the forum, so I apologize in advance if you’ve heard this quesiton before. I’m looking for a faster fusing schedule for small jewelry pieces. All the ones I’ve tried take hours. I took a class years ago, before I got my kiln and we fused small pieces in a matter of an hour or two. Of course now that I have one, I can’t finds a schedule that fuses very quickly. I’ve found some fast fusing schedules, but I’m a little confused. I’m using Spectrum 96 and a Paragon Firefly kiln. Currently, my small cabochons are taking about 4 hours to fuse. Help?
Thanks in advance! Gina B

ParticipantI have a small test kiln, shelf size 7×7”. My schedule takes only 90 minutes but does not bubble squeeze because my jewelry pieces are 2” and smaller.
1500 per hour
15 minute hold
done

ParticipantThanks so much. This is so appreciated! My pieces are 2” or less. I’m going to give this a try. Thanks again!

ParticipantDoes this mean AFAP to 1500 then hold for 15 minutes? Still learning the process

ParticipantI apologize for being cryptic.
Seg 1 [there is only one segment]
1500 Rate/hour
Hold 15 min
Let cool for 8-12 hours.
Takes about 90 minutes, then cooling time.
