ParticipantI am a lampworker/fuser and some of the other online forums for glassworkers have daily "shows". Would love to see one here on fused items.
Here is a pendant that I just uploaded to my Etsy. It has a hole/canal for hanging on a chain or necklace or worked into jewelry.
Can’t wait to see what ya’ll are creating!!!!

ParticipantIsharick,
You are right that is a nice Pate de Verre piece. Did you make the mold?
I don’t know that the site needs a weekly/daily gallery. I am sure anyone can share photos of work.
How does everyone feel about rating system for photos? As I see it 1-5, and a easy way to respond without commenting. Or maybe I am wrong and that is not how it works.
I am thinking that some people don’t want real feed back, or maybe this would be too cold just rating without commenting. I think constructive criticism helps artists to grow. Building on one’s strong points.

Participanti agree that a new work thread might be better than a daily/weekly gallery. I am always happy to have constructive critisim (sp?) and I think that would be better than a rating system with no comments.
As for my piece I made the silcone mold for the base, then made a wax model from that, then made a plaster mold which I loaded with a mixture of #1 frit and powder. The bowl piece is actually a freeze and fuse.

ParticipantLisa,
You did a very nice job, I think the color suits the piece and I will look forward to more of your work.

InactiveMember galleries of some sort are on my to-do list. Still trying to figure out the simplest way to do it — maybe allow people to feature a couple photos of their work as part of their profile.
