I am in a different legal jurisdiction, but we only need to carry out a risk assessment and determine how/what we do to cover that risk. Then the insurance company is happy.
I should add that in my jurisdiction a waiver has no legal force, as it can and has been argued successfully that the person signing is unlikely to know at the point of signing what they are agreeing to despite what the wording may be.
