Yes, it will cut circles and straight lines, although it would not be my first choice for circles, nor would I use it for straight lines. But sometimes there’s a shape you want to cut and there’s just no other way to do it. For instance, a compound curve is impossible to do with a wheel cutter, this saw will do that. Does that help?
