My issue with Armstrong “float compatible” products is that there is no one COE for float – it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer (and even from lot to lot) which makes sense when you consider how difficult it is to keep it consistent and they have no reason to try. There is a reason Bullseye tests every tenth sheet.
So, if you cannot guarantee compatibility between two random pieces of float glass, how can you claim to make a “float compatible” product?
