I’m not a potter but my understanding is that even low-fire clay doesn’t begin to sinter (permanently change to a hard material) until above 1700F. That happens to be where most glass kilns top out.
I’ve made some clay slumping molds in my glass kiln – but they are much more fragile than fully fired bisque.
