I feel the same way you do but I have had people refuse to buy a dessert dish ($40.00) because of the dishwasher issue. I just wanted to make sure that there was no problem with heat (non that I could imagine) and just let them know that the dishwasher will do the same thing to glass dishes over time as it does to glasses. Thanks!
