I purchased a HP LaserJet P1006 just for this purpose. It only prints back and white which is what you want. Wait until Staples or one of the local places near you has a sale on it (which is about every other week). I think I got mine for around $100 or less. I believe the low end brother also will work but I use the P1006 so I know it works.
Not sure how much you know about making color decals but from what I understand you need high $$$ system – normal laserJet color printer doesn’t work. As for the paper I’ll get back to you on that I need to find the address – for some reason I think it came out of miami but I could be wrong. When I find it I’ll post the address.
