Are you ready for a 5-day glass fusing boot-camp? This intensive 5-day class will focus on developing strong design processes with the emphasis on thick larger scale Triptych Formats (3 piece panels).

By exploring fundamental principles of design and new techniques, each student will transform their vision into a rich composition. You will be encouraged to use your imagination with ideas, demonstrations and information on various fusing and kiln-forming techniques that can then be applied to your individual projects.

You will be inspired to develop new ideas and onto your projects. We will explore techniques to create depth and surface design elements using frits, powders, stringers, wafers, metals and mica powders, irids and dichroic glass.

Students will have the opportunity design and create pattern bars; combing and manipulating glass in the kiln; working with mosaics; pot melts/pours; and vitrographs. You will also get hands-on instruction to cold work your glass pieces. note: hands-on fusing experience is required. Class registration is limited.
